Entanda is a beautiful word in Uganda. It means a package which you offer to people that you love and care about. The package could be useful advice or physical valuables which you offer to help someone in the future. It could be a daughter, son, cousin, friend or anyone you truly love that you give Entanda. The Entanda Initiative offers an authentic visitor experience in a non-staged environment. Through active participation, visitors are able to learn a lot of things and they return home with bountiful knowledge and lessons for use in the future. Visitors explore, learn and enjoy. Moreover, the village where Entanda is located is called Kijjudde which means a community blessed with abundance. Activities:  Fresh buffet of fruits (most varieties available), enough for everyone  Music,dance and drama (all major instruments, drummers and dancers performing for entire duration of visit)  Cooking classes (food harvesting, and luwombo preparation)  Lunch (fresh hot luwombo and a bottle of mineral water). Kabaka Suuna II was King of Buganda, the largest of the traditional territories that now make up the nation of Uganda. During his reign in the middle of the 19th century, he became the first king to admit outside traders into Buganda. He had 148 wives and sired 218 children, and when he died, he was the last king to have his jawbone (which was believed to contain his spirit) placed in a royal shrine staffed by his descendants. The Wamala King’s tombs, including the shrine of Kabaka Suuna II, are one of only two such tomb complexes remaining in Uganda.  After a sumptuous Local cuisine at the Roots Restaurant, visit the Namugongo Martyrs’ Shrine and Museum. The Uganda Martyrs Shrine Namugongo is one of the largest Christian pilgrimage destinations in Africa dedicated to the 22 Martyrs and saints of Uganda who were martyred between 1885 and 1887 by the king of Buganda, Kabaka Mwanga II.
