6 days 5 nights exploring Rwanda

As early as 6am our driver guide will pick you for a 6hours drive to Nyungwe national park, however on the way we will pass by the King’s palace museum to learn about the ancient history and culture of Rwandans during monarchy times. Lunch will be taken there as well and continue to Nyungwe and do Gisakura tea plantation experience in the evening. Spend a night in Lodge near by Nyungwe. After breakfast, we will hit the road into the forest to Uwinka overlook where we will meet park guide for briefing about igishigishigi trails towards Canopy walk way, with such zigzag natural walk you will be enjoying beauty of the forest, different bird species with their sounds and different vegetation. from there, you will have lunch at Nyungwe area and then take the road with a beautiful scenery of endless mountains alongside Lake Kivu heading to Rubavu. Reaching around evening time, after check in at the hotel it will be a perfect time for swimming or relax by the beach as you watch and enjoy sun set boat ride. Overnight in Rubavu. Early for sunrise view with a cup of coffee, have relaxed morning near the lake, enjoy the room or do a boat trip After we go for lunch at the restaurant near the lake and later drive back to Kigali for overnight and dinner. Another morning in Kigali, after enjoying breakfast, for a city tour you will get to be driven around different interesting corners within Kigali while being explained about its history, visit Genocide memorial center and also campaign against genocide museum to learn how the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi was prepared, executed and later on stopped. You will also have time to visit local markets and art galleries. In the evening, we will explore Kigali nightlife with different view. back to the hotel for overnight.
