Overview

This tour will take you on a 9 days’ safari in Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru National Park, and the amazing parks of Serengeti for the migration, Ngorongoro conservancy and end in Tarangire National park. Some of East Africa’s best  national parks, featuring a lot of wildlife, birds and great game viewing opportunities. Tour starts in Nairobi and ends in Arusha.

Itinerary

Pick up from Hotel in Nairobi, meet the rest of your group. For those with payment balance clear first. After safari briefing, we depart for Lake Nakuru through the dramatic Great Rift Valley. You will have a stopover at Lake Naivasha for boat ride and feeding the fish eagles. Head to the hotel in Nakuru and spend afternoon by the pool and take a late afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru has been famous for its flamingos but has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. You may get out of the vehicle at the lake shore to get a closer look at the birds. The nearby cliffs offer sightings of baboons, birds of prey and scurrying hyraxes, as well as great views of the park. The national park covers 180 sq km and is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks, and the occasional leopard as well as white and black rhinos which were introduced to the park some years ago. On this morning, you will start with an early morning game drive after breakfast as we head out to the Maasai mara reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is the home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino. Lunch at Narok town and later proceed to your camp, check in and relax before departing for the afternoon game run. The Mara Game Reserve–one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied and easy to see. Residents of the Parks are Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousands of the plain game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson’s and grants Gazelles. You will arrive at your camp /lodge and check-in. You will then go for an game drive. Overnight at camp/lodge Meal Plan {Lunch & Dinner}

After breakfast, we carry packed lunches and set off to search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continue today during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During our stay, we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. After breakfast, you will get to enjoy an early morning game drive as you are transferred to the Kenya -Tanzania boarder to start your Tanzania leg of the tour. Pick up from Isebania border and drive to Serengeti National Park for game drives. One of the most famous game parks in Africa, the Serengeti! Today you drive to one of the most famous game parks in Africa, the Serengeti! Known to host one of the most amazing wildlife spectacles on earth – the great migration of wildebeest and zebra – the Serengeti’s vast plains are also home to a haven of other wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and many other predators. Dinner and overnight at Pamoja Migration Camp on Full Board

This morning, you’ll catch a glimpse of lions and other predators on their morning hunt during your first game drive. After brunch, you’ll then leave the park and go for the final game drive while on your way to the Ngorongoro conservation area. One of Africa's seven natural wonders! Before dinner is served, enjoy awesome views of the crater below. Dinner and overnight at Embalakai Tented Camp (Ngorongoro) on Full Board

Today you’ll rise early in the morning to descend the 600m high walls to the floor of the crater and get up close with one of Africa's seven natural wonders! Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is considered one of the most beautiful and unique places in Africa. Here you will find a haven of African wildlife and you might also be lucky enough to witness the endangered Rhino! Enjoy a game drive and lunch by the hippo pool before driving to Tarangire – overnight stay at Pamoja Tarangire Camp on Full Board

Enjoy the game drives in Tarangire National Park, which is known for its huge baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Its sparse vegetation makes it a beautiful and special location, where up to 300 elephants can be found, looking for underground streams in the dry riverbeds. Migratory wildebeest, zebra and buffalo can also be seen crowding the shrinking lagoons. Here you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch. Later proceed to Arusha or Airport for drop off!
