Itinerary

You've been dreaming of your safari for so long and now it's finally about to begin. You'll meet your guide who will tell you everything you need to know to get your safari started. We're as excited as you are to get your trip underway. Nairobi could just be East Africa's most exciting city, thanks to its buzzing nightlife, well-regarded restaurant scene and excellent shopping. And it's more than just a gateway to the safari parks elsewhere in the country. Nairobi also has stellar wildlife and other attractions that make it worth visiting quite apart from exploring further afield. Overnight accommodation at the Hotel Meals :

We think you'll fall in love with Samburu National Reserve at first sight. It's a fantastic reserve that doesn't get the crowds you sometimes see in Kenya's south. The reserve is well-stocked with predators, including lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena, with sightings of elephant, giraffe, hippo and zebra also common. It's a chance to see some northern animals that are hard to see elsewhere, including Somali ostrich, gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, beisa oryx and reticulated giraffe. Fabulous scenery and nearly 400 bird species too. Evening game drive-Going on an evening game drive is one of the highlights of any safari. This is when temperatures cool, the light becomes softer and the wildlife begins to get active. Not only will you be out when the light is best for taking photos, but it's also one of the best times of day for seeing the animals. Overnight at a tented camp Meal Plan {Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner}

Early morning tea/coffee or Hot chocolate, then depart for a morning game drive. A full-day game drive at Samburu National Reserve is an unforgettable experience that offers a deep dive into Kenya’s wild and rugged north. Set against a backdrop of semi-arid savannahs and the Ewaso Nyiro River, Samburu is a hidden gem teeming with rare and iconic wildlife. Unlike more crowded parks, Samburu offers a more intimate safari—fewer vehicles, stunning light for photography, and a raw, untamed feel. Overnight accommodation at Lodge/camp Meal Plan {Breakfast, Lunch}

You'll be visiting Lake Nakuru National Park, and it's a brilliant park to visit. There are so many highlights to look forward to. When it comes to wildlife, there are tree-climbing lions, endangered Rothschild's giraffes, and flamingos in varying numbers on the lake. This is also one of the best parks in Kenya for seeing both black and white rhinos. It's a beautiful park as well, with amazing views from the Out of Africa Lookout (some scenes from the 1985 film of the same name were filmed here), as well as waterfalls, acacia woodlands and pretty lake panoramas. Evening Game Drive, Lake Nakuru National Park You'll love the warm light and cooler temperatures as we take you out to explore on your evening game drive. This time of day is when both predators and prey are most active and it can feel as though anything could happen at any moment. This is when you'll most enjoy being on safari. Overnight accommodation at Lodge/camp Meal Plan {Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner}

A full-day game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park is a vibrant blend of wildlife, birdwatching, and breathtaking scenery all in one compact, easily navigable park. Lake Nakuru itself is the centerpiece of the park, once famous for its millions of flamingos. While their numbers vary based on water levels, you can still see large flocks of pelicans, storks, and other water birds. The park is a birdwatcher's paradise with over 400 species recorded. Lake Nakuru is ideal for those who want a diverse safari experience in a single day—rhinos, big cats, birds, and iconic East African landscapes, all packed into one magical outing. Overnight accommodation at Lodge/camp Meal Plan {Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner}

Welcome to one of the best safari destinations in Kenya. Here in the Masai Mara National Reserve, you're almost certain to see lions, hyenas, hippos, elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas and zebras, not to mention the more-than-500 species of birds that have been recorded here. There's also a good chance you'll encounter leopards and cheetahs, while you might also see black rhinos in the Mara Triangle. Another memorable thing about visiting the Masai Mara is the landscape of vast savannah grasslands with plenty of flat-topped acacia trees. Overnight accommodation at Lodge/camp Meal Plan {Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner}

From sunrise to sunset, you're immersed in one of the most iconic wildlife landscapes on the planet. The Mara is famous for the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—and on a full-day drive, you’ve got a solid chance of seeing most of them. You’ll also encounter huge herds of zebra, wildebeest, and gazelle, especially during the Great Migration (July to October). A full-day in the Mara is more than a safari—it’s a front-row seat to nature’s greatest show. Overnight accommodation at Lodge/camp Meal Plan {Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner}

A full-day game drive in Maasai Mara is not just a safari—it's a journey through the heartbeat of the wild. This is the land of the Big Cats—lions bask in the morning sun, cheetahs scan the horizon, and sometimes, you’ll spot a leopard draped across a tree, half-hidden in the leaves. As the sun begins to drop, the golden hour arrives, and the Mara transforms again. The light turns warm, the shadows grow longer, and the air fills with anticipation. It’s often at this time the wild truly comes alive—predators hunt, scavengers linger, and the drama of survival plays out right before your eyes. On this day you will visit a Maasai village to see how they live and get a feel of their tribe with a cultural emersion Overnight accommodation at Lodge/camp Meal Plan {Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner}

You're almost guaranteed to see hippos when you visit Lake Naivasha, the highest of Kenya's Rift Valley lakes at 1884m above sea level. You might also see zebras and giraffes close to the shore of the lake during your boat ride on this Lake Overnight accommodation at the Hotel Meal Plan {Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner}

We will leave very early in the morning after breakfast for your drive back to Nairobi, approximately one and a half hours away where you will be dropped back to your hotel/airport for departure. As your safari journey comes to an end, we just want to say what an absolute pleasure it’s been to share these wild and wonderful days with you. From the early morning game drives to golden sunsets over the savannah, each moment has been part of a story — your story — written in the dust trails, animal tracks, and quiet sunrises of Africa. Today may be your last day with us, but the memories you’ve made will stay long after the engines quiet and the binoculars are packed away. The roar of a lion, the grace of a giraffe, the vastness of the Mara or Samburu skies — these will always be yours. May the wild remain in your heart, and may you always find your way back to it — whether here in Kenya, or wherever adventure calls. Meal plan {Breakfast)
