This tour will take you on a 5 days safari to Maasai Mara National Park, though some of Kenya's best national parks, featuring a lot of wildlife and great game viewing opportunities.
It usually targets the annual great migration of the wildebeests, one of the 7 wonders of the world, but is equally exciting during the low season period.
All rates are per person sharing and peak season reates are available upon request.
Arrival to Nairobi, you will be picked from the airport (JKIA) and taken directly to your hotel for check in and thereafter lunch. In the late afternoon you will go for a game drive and later come back to the hotel for dinner. This shallow Soda Lake has been famous for its flamingos but has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. You may get out of the vehicle at the lake shore to get a closer look at the birds. The nearby cliffs offer sightings of baboons, birds of prey and scurrying hyraxes, as well as great views of the park. The national park covers 180 sq km and is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks, and the occasional leopard as well as white and black rhinos which were introduced to the park some years ago. Later we will go to your lodge for the night in Nakuru Overnight accommodation at Lodge/camp Meal Plan (Lunch, Dinner)
Pick up from your hotel after breakfast and we will depart for Mara National Park, check in at your hotel then in the late afternoon you will go on your first game drive at the Mara national park and later come back to the hotel for dinner. After breakfast, we carry packed lunches and set off to search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continue today during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During our stay, we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. On this morning, after having breakfast, you will leave Maasai mara very early and head to Lake Naivasha. A freshwater lake, Naivasha (meaning 'rough water') is home to an incredible variety of bird species and there is a full effort to protect the wildlife although the lake suffered a lot in the past by tourism activities. You will be dropped at the hotel for Lunch and enjoy the animals within the hotel. You will take a boat ride on lake Naivasha and may get into crescent island (at an additional cost) or enjoy the lush green well-manicured lawns teaming with animals. We will leave early in the morning after checking out from the hotel for your drive back to Nairobi, approximately one and a half hours away where you will be dropped back to your hotel/airport for departure. END OF SERVICES Meal Plan (Breakfast)
